Are you sabotaging your happiness?

What happens when you start to feel content? Do you get a bit twitchy? Self-sabotage? We’re conditioned to keep striving, achieving, pushing, doing. But what if the feeling of ‘enough’ is actually what we really need?  There are many different reasons why people feel uncomfortable with contentment and I explored a whole lot of them in this week's podcast. 🎧 Maybe you worry that feeling content means you’ll stop trying or get complacent. For some, it's about worthiness. Our brains are comfortable with what’s familiar; and if that's struggle or chaos or scarcity, then contentment might feel foreign and therefore unsafe. I'd encourage you to practice tuning into feelings of peace and contentment. Notice your resistance and be curious about where it comes from.  Hear the full ep on Apple, Spotify or at www.crappytohappypod.com #InnerPeace #SelfCompassion #Contentment #Mindfulness #SelfGrowth

Why Tiff Hall Walked Away from the Business she Spent a Decade Building

What happens when you build a wildly successful business… and then decide to let it go? In this episode of Crappy to Happy, I'm catching up with my good friend and former podcast co-host Tiffiny Hall to talk about reinvention, identity, burnout, motherhood, body image, and the emotional reality of selling a business you built from the ground up. After a decade leading her fitness brand TXO, Tiff decided to sell the business to 28 by Sam Wood. In this episode, she opens up about the grief, relief, guilt, and growth that came with stepping away from being a founder and returning to what she loves most: training, teaching, and connecting with people through movement. We explore: • Why selling TXO was an emotional grieving process, not just a business decision • The unseen cost of running a business while navigating pregnancy, postpartum, injury, and chronic illness • The pressure on women to keep performing publicly while struggling privately • Motherhood, identity shifts, and choosi…

2026 Year of Fire: Realistic Goals for Lasting Results

You do not need bigger goals this year. You need better ones, especially if you have ADHD. In this episode of Crappy to Happy, I've got a refreshingly achievable, evidence based approach to goal setting for 2026. This is not about New Year’s resolutions, hustle culture, or unrealistic expectations that damage your confidence and self esteem. Instead, we're focusing on how consistency, completion, and mastery are the real foundations of lasting change and a healthy self concept. If you struggle to follow through on goals, feel scattered or overwhelmed, or constantly feel like you are failing yourself, this episode will help you rethink how you set goals in a way that actually builds self trust. You will learn: • Why traditional New Year’s resolutions often undermine confidence and motivation • How setting the bar lower can dramatically improve consistency and follow through • Why consistency matters more than intensity for habit formation • How repeated non completion damages self…

Why Are Talented Women Holding Themselves Back at Work?

Megan Dalla-Camina is a globally recognised expert in women’s leadership, empowerment and feminine wisdom who spent almost two decades climbing the ladder in some of the world’s biggest corporate environments before a major burnout changed everything. She’s the founder of Women Rising (a leadership program serving women in 68 countries), a best-selling author, and she’s completing a PhD in women’s spirituality and leadership. Megan and I dive into why so many women are still feeling overwhelmed, undervalued or “not enough,” and how much of that comes from the invisible forces around us—not from personal failings. We talk about the systemic biases that shape women’s experience at work, the six Paradoxes of Power, and how these external pressures become the inner critic narratives we’re all so familiar with. Megan breaks down her 13 Inner Critic Archetypes (yes, all your favourites are there: the Perfectionist, the People Pleaser, the Ideal Mother…), and we explore how each archety…

Do you need to stop being a people pleaser?! If you find yourself always saying yes when you mean no, letting other people make decisions or going along with ideas you don’t agree with, I’ve got SIX tips for how you can stop being a people pleaser. Because while it might seem like a good thing to be considerate, agreeable and accommodating, it can also drain your energy, breed resentment and create unhealthy relationship dynamics if you're always putting your own needs last. It's also a little dishonest if you're pretending you're ok with something when you're not so let's learn how to STOP people pleasing, be authentic, and assert yourself with kindness. P.S. If you know your people pleasing stems from early trauma (as a way of staying safe) that's entirely understandable but it's still a pattern you have the power to break and I'll talk about that in a future video. ✨Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE ✨ If you found this helpful, I know you will LOVE my FREE 7-day Happiness Challenge 👉…
